If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.We are currently seeking a Desktop Support/ Field Tech Specialist - Onsite in Franklin Furnace, Ohio to join our team in Franklin Furnace, Ohio (US-OH), United States (US).Role Responsibilities:Provide onsite in person technical support for VIP users, with high level of customer serviceIndividuals here have a well-rounded knowledge of the policies and procedures for their work areaTheir work may require discretion and independent judgment for non-routine matters. However, the primary focus of work activity is predominately routineThey may make policy recommendations to their managers and be an escalation point for less experienced team membersPerforms troubleshooting, parts replacement, systems upgrades, deployment, and repair on desktops / notebooks/ printers / tabletsMay respond to calls after normal business hours per leader instructionsIdentifies potential issues that could adversely impact end user experience and takes corrective actionInteract directly with clients and other internal and external sources to resolve issuesAbility to physically perform general office requirements (lifting 50lbs +)Basic Required Qualifications:2+ years of desktop support experienceMust have Windows Operating System environmentexperienceExperience working within Ticketing Systems (is: ServiceNow or comparable)Highly Preferred Skills:A+ desktop or equivalent skill set is Highly recommendedExcellent customer/client service skills/ Active communicatorVerbal and written communication skills with emphasis on customer service, including experience handling challenging situations and conflict resolutionFollow up with clients to ensure high satisfaction on issue resolutionMust be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodationsAbility to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsMust be able to work both collaboratively and independently and take initiative to identify, track, and resolve issuesExcellent hands-on troubleshooting skillsHigh School Diploma or equivalent is required;Undergraduate degree or some college coursework preferredTravel including overnight domestic or international trips may be required#INDICS#LI-MIWSAbout NTT DATANTT DATA is a $30 billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
