Job DescriptionResponsibilities
Determines systems specification based on business requirements, working with business end users to elicit proper solution designWorks to integrate/implement systems solutions working with development, quality, and release teamsPerforms tests to ensure the quality of solution as a part of the delivery processProduces systems delivery specifications, technical systems design, user procedure documents, training documents, and rollout procedures as applicableWorks to self-manage projects to budget/estimate and hit deadlines set forth by project leads/managersProvides systems analysis support for production issues when neededWorks closely with Business groups and analyze clients requirements and write systems design documents.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems, and/or equivalent work experience 4 to 6 years financial services experience a plusStrong Financial domain knowledge requiredExtensive Knowledge on Industry trends and Message frameworks and standards like ISO15022, ISO2022, Derivative , DTCCStrong Functional experience on Product life cycle especially in Financial Domain is a plusStrong Technical Design Documentation is a huge plusStrong SME knowledge on applications financial or related is a plusAbility to Design Solutions using different technologies and articulating the Requirements effectively and efficiently both verbally and written is a mustVery Strong Analytical skills requiredStrong understanding of different Messaging standards like Swift, EDI, JSON, FIXGood understanding of current Technology architectures like Open source , AWS, Azure is keyStrong skills to Create Technical Documentation ( BSD, UML diagrams)Strong Product Analysis and Product Design skills is a plusSDLC Experience is a plus2+ SWIFT and other Messaging formats (XML,FpmL,FIX,SWIFTNET) requiredStrong SQL experience is a mustProgramming skills like Java,python or Scripting languages a PlusExcellent oral and written communication skillsProblem solving/analytical skills is keyBasic understanding and applies knowledge of the Project Life CycleDetailed oriented and out of the box analytical thinking a plusTechnology driven business skillsExperience in Water fall and Agile Methodologies is requiredExperience in creating work flow diagrams ex: wire frames, UML, VisioExperience with Application development Analysis is a plusAbility to efficiently/effectively use Microsoft Word and Excel, Visio, Wire framesAbility to use standard desktop tools effectively (Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office)
