Additive Applications Coordinator Position Summary:
As an Additive Applications Coordinator for Managed Services, you will be responsible for 3D printing production services for our customer(s) at the customer site. You will run and maintain all 3D printing equipment, manage print queues, manage consumables inventory, organize for efficiencies, and promote FATHOM services within the customer organization. At the customer's request, you may be asked to support the customer with other tasks and duties, though management of all 3D printing requests are the primary responsibility for the Additive Applications Coordinator, Managed Services.
Additive Applications Coordinator Responsibilities:
Managing customer order intake to ensure efficient build orders and on-time deliveries.File fixing when necessary to ensure successful 3D printsManaging consumables inventoryOrganizing 3D printing space and consumablesMaking materials recommendations and sharing capabilities (both in-house and through FATHOM services) with customerASAP part production per customer requestsManual Parts cleaning is a significant part of this roleWorking with safety teams to ensure safety requirements being followed.Collaborate with FATHOM production managers to ensure deadlines are metProviding "white glove" service at the customer siteAdditive Applications Coordinator Required Skills:
Bachelor's Degree, emphasis in Industrial Design or Mechanical Engineering preferredExperience with Magics or other STL editors preferredExperience with CAD DesignExperience with 3d system carbon or Stratasys is a plusExperience in design for manufacturing and assembly techniques preferredExperience with Product Development processes & decision-making processesProficient in SolidWorks, Rhino3D or Fusion 360 software. Any analysis tools.Plastic tooling & part design a plus. Experience with other manufacturing methods a plus.Understanding of engineering materials for both manufacturing and product designAttention to detail and ability to communicate and collaborate across teams is a mustFamiliarity with Additive Manufacturing technologies is desiredComfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Hours: Morning shift or negotiable (40+ hrs)
