Job Title: Sr. Business Analyst

Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Position Type: Approximately 6-Month Contract. Plan to convert to full time

Job Summary: The Business Analyst will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT, leading the analysis, documentation, and delivery of enhancements, projects, and products. You will be responsible for assessing business risks, facilitating gap analysis, documenting business processes, and ensuring successful project execution in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. Expertise in business requirement elicitation, testing, and stakeholder management is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver enhancements and projects, including documenting risks, creating business cases, and facilitating As-Is/To-Be process flows.

Lead business requirements elicitation, peer reviews, and traceability to technical requirements.

Plan, coordinate, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production validation, and project transition planning.

Manage a software delivery project with multiple teams, ensuring on-time, high-quality results.

Create comprehensive project plans, timelines, and dependencies, and monitor cross-functional teams.

Communicate progress and updates to leadership, stakeholders, and team members.

Proactively identify and mitigate risks and coordinate business readiness, communication, and training.

Percentage of Time Breakdown:

45%: Managing software delivery projects and ensuring successful project execution across multiple teams.

35%: Creating and tracking comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

10%: Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements.

10%: Overseeing business readiness, communication, training, and production validation.

Qualifications:

6+ years of experience in Business Analysis, ideally within Financial Services or the Insurance industry.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

CBAP certification preferred, or CCBA certification required within 360 days of employment for internal hires (180 days for external hires).

Experience in project management, Agile methodologies, and stakeholder communication.
