Senior Piping Designers

Job DescriptionInsight Global is currently searching for Detail Piping Designers for a large shipbuilding client supporting the U.S. Navy. This Senior Piping Design Engineer will be responsible for designing piping diagrams and systems in 3D and 2D AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with NAVSEA standards using Navis, ShipConstructor, and AutoCAD.Designs will be reviewed by a Senior 3D Checker to ensure that drawings meet Navy specifications before approval for the build process. The ideal candidate will have a background in the maritime shipbuilding industry and experience designing piping systems as a prime contractor on a Navy contract.The hourly rate for this role is between $42-$48/hr.We are committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
