The Digital PM Lead Analyst is a VP (C13) level position in Citi’s Chief Data Office (CDO) within the Chief Operating Office (COO) organization. The mandate of COO is to lead the Transformation efforts of the firm to deliver client excellence, improved operating efficiency and returns. As part of COO, the CDO organization is responsible for an enterprise-wide effort to transform and strengthen the firm’s data, modernize data infrastructure while simplifying the data operating model and executing the strategic priorities for the firm. The CDO defines and enforces data-related policies and standards across Citi and equips the firm with the tools required to take ownership and accountability for data governance and management.
This role is sitting in the CDO Tooling Strategy team and is responsible for the product management of the data governance capabilities required to support the Transformation.
Responsibilities:
Engage with business users and stakeholders, collect, analyze and document business requirements
Break down high level business requirements into user stories, write user stories and groom user stories with Technology teams
Act as a product owner, manage sprint backlog, participate agile events and manage daily interaction with business users and technology teams
Identify and resolve issues and blockers in a timely manner, ensure product deliverables are on track and on time
Coordinate UAT testing with technology and business users
Conduct data analysis in order to document business requirements at the right level
Drive cross-functional collaboration and facilitate effective communication with business and technology partners
Qualifications:
Deep knowledge in data modeling, database design, data warehouse, data pipeline, and data visualization
1-3 year Product Owner experience (data product management preferred), professional experience in financial services desired
Agile/Scrum/SAFe training (PO/PM certification preferred)
Can do attitude, ready to roll up sleeves and solve any problem at hand
Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical partners
Excellent data analysis skills (MS Excel and SQL skills desired)
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
