Through a robust healthcare delivery system, and a dedicated team of inspired professionals, the Agency ensures the worldwide delivery of medical, dental, and pharmacy programs to more than 9.5 million uniformed service members, retirees, and their families, by improving health and building readiness Anytime, Anywhere-Always.Major Duties:Functions as professional Clinical Psychologist for Traumatic Brain Injury Program for Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC) and Western Regional Medical Command.Provides psychological screening, assessment (clinical interview, assessment, scoring, interpretation, documentation) and treatment with a broad range of active-duty service members.As an advisor and consultant, assists in developing, implementing, and managing the TBI Program for the psychological services of behavioral effects of central nervous system (CNS) dysfunction.Provides clinical supervision and training to lower graded psychologists, clinicians and students providing psychological assessments and treatment for patients with difficult and complex problems within Madigan Army Medical Center.Provides professional consultation and liaison to other medical departments within MAMC and Western Region Medical Center regarding the identification and diagnosis of TBI and complex neurobehavioral cases.Provides specialized professional education on assessment of behavioral manifestations of organic CNS dysfunctions to medical personnel including interns and residents who are on rotations.Conceptualizes, designs and coordinates research on psychological and behavioral consequences of CNS disease or injury.Education:FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.Requirements:Evaluations: Once the announcement has closed, a review of your application package (resume, supporting documents, and responses to the questionnaire) will be used to determine whether you meet the qualification requirements listed on this announcement.
