Description:

The User Experience (UX) specialist is responsible for designing, documenting, optimizing, prototyping, and testing user interfaces for web applications as well as thick client applications. The UX specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure applications have an intuitive and user-friendly interface that meets both business and user needs.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across all applications.Create or contribute to requirements specifications involving user interactions and user interfaces.Conduct user research using various methods such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis to gather insights on user needs and behaviors.Create user personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed design specifications for web applications.Create prototype interfaces that can be used to test designs and to facilitate development efforts.Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to translate business requirements and user feedback into effective design solutions.Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate and improve web application designs.Analyze user data and metrics to identify pain points and opportunities for enhancing the user experience.Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices within the organization.Communicate design concepts and solutions effectively to stakeholders at all levels.QualificationsBachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.Proven experience as a UX Specialist, UX Designer, or similar role, with a focus on web applications.Strong portfolio showcasing UX design work, particularly for web applications.Proficiency in design and prototyping tools.Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices for web applications.Experience with responsive and mobile web design.Knowledge of front-end development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).Familiarity with accessibility standards and guidelines (e.g., WCAG).Understanding of Agile methodologies and working in an Agile environment.Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.QualitiesCreativeDetail oriented.Positive outlook and a willingness to embrace challenges.Excellent communication and organizational skillsSelf-motivated and self-disciplined.
