Do you enjoy being part of a successful team?Join our Server Infrastructure TeamsOur Core-SIT group (Server Infrastructure Teams) plays a vital role in offering and managing the in-house server infrastructure and hosting platforms for enterprise application services. We ensure maximum uptime and health for all enterprise applications, providing stable compute Infrastructure and data systems. Our hosting platforms cater to a wide range of businesses to meet their necessary IT needs.Partner with the bestManaging & MaintainingUnix (REHL, Ubuntu) administration for a large enterprise on-premserver infrastructure. Unix administrator with 8+ Years of experience with a minimum 2yrs of L3 background.Key responsibilities of Unix Core On-prem Senior InfrastructureAdministrator.Providing support and working on incident and service requests related to Unix (REHL, Ubuntu)environments.Solving complex problems related to Linux\Unix physical and virtual servers.Creating Ansible runbooks, Red Hat Satellite Scripts, Go Bash, and Python Scripts, and familiar with capabilities and management.Working with Service-Now change and incident management tools to maintain SLAs.Monitoring physical and virtualized server infrastructure and provide advice on capacity requirements.Working with the storage team and system administrators for storage virtualization configuration.Providing support and advice to projects requiring Unix server infrastructure deployment or upgrade globally.Being able to proactively manage theUnixServer environment to prevent incidents from occurring.Being able to proactively identify inefficiencies in operations to improve the quality of the working environment Requirements:Providing 16x7 operations support for Unix server deployed on VMware and Hyper-V hypervisors across multiple COLO data centers.Being able to provision the(REHL, Ubuntu) and other Unixoperatingsystems by following the orchestration for building & hardening the servers.Administering Unix VMsvia Virtual Machine Manager, VCenter, and another VMWare ancillary products.Leading hardware server deployments (Dell, HP, Nvidia) which include racking, stacking, and network connections with the help of H&F support.Configuring and analyzing systems logs and integrating with log aggregators. (Splunk and sys log collectors).Required Skills:Have a Bachelor's degree with minimum 6+ Yrs. of experience in Unix administration for a large on-prem enterprise environment with a 1yr of L3 background.Have Operating Systems experience - Expertise in installing and administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7x, 8x and newer.Have Security experience - Should know how to secure servers and protect the system from these new threat vectors, such as enforcing security best practices, security protocol, and OS level hardening.Have troubleshooting and administration experience - Expertise in solving complex problems related to Linux\Unix physical and virtual servers.Have automation and Scripting experience - Red Hat Satellite and creating Ansible runbooks, Go, Bash, Python, familiar with capabilities and management.Have account access management experience - Familiar with account management applications and software such as Active Directory, CyberArk, and Okta.AdditionalBe ITIL trained - Should be aware of Incident management, change management, problem management, and asset management processes.Have additional basic and advanced certification in the respective technology/domain (UNIX/REHL) will be preferred.Have good verbal and written communication skills.Have flexible to adapt working in the EMEA shifts (occasionally).Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
