You'll join an experienced team of engineers with direct experience building and scaling teams through massive growth at companies like Slack, Meta, and Samsara. On the back of this experience and our success to date, we’ve raised over $32M from leading investors, including Greylock and Battery Ventures. Your Responsibilities
Ensure the stability, security, scalability, and performance of Opal Security’s platformTake ownership of critical components of Opal Security’s InfrastructureEmpower product engineers with the tools and systems they needWork closely with leadership, our product team, and other engineers in roadmap, architecture, and product discussionsCreate and improve engineering best practices and processesInteract directly with customers on product feedback and issuesOur ideal candidate
Familiarity with our tech stack: Kubernetes, Golang, Postgres, Redis, Terraform, GraphQL, TypeScript, and ReactExperience with cloud providers (e.g., AWS / GCP) and scaling cloud infrastructureHas 4+ years experience as a full-time software engineer or equivalent experience building large distributed systemsThrives in ambiguous environments with significant ownership and with the opportunity to make decisions that have a huge impact on the businessBenefits & Perks
