Our client, a biotech startup in Boston, is looking for a part-time office manager to join their team! The role is on site in the city, accessible via public transit, looking for someone who can work 4 hours 5x/week, and is paying between 20-22/hr.ResponsibilitiesReceive calls - answering them in a professional manner and correctly sourcing them or providing necessary assistance.Coordinate with other employees (Especially Chief of Staff), understanding which tasks they will oversee and which tasks to outsource.Manage maintenance issues within the building.Maintain the office space, ensuring there are no boxes, trash, or other undesirable distractions in said space.Receive and respond to or forward email and other communications.Procure, replenish, and neatly maintain supplies. Conduct periodic inventory.Ensure kitchen beverages and snacks are always available. Arrange for new orders as necessary.Process sales transactions and handle cash/credit card payments.Coordinate and schedule meetings for Chief of Staff and book conference rooms.Handle and organize confidential information.Beacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
