Primary Function:

The Help Desk/Technical Support Specialist will serve as a point of contact for help desk questions and trouble shooting. Our Information Technology (IT) team works with employees across nine office locations to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.

Provide telephone support as well as on-site support for users to determine symptoms, causes and resolutions to problems related to PC software, configuration management, network management, VPN support, wireless access support, phone support, video conference support, printer configuration, network and cloud applications for all employeesPerform advanced hardware and software support for laptop, desktop, and tablet PC's. This also involves upgrades, testing workstations, peripheral devices, user applications and other softwareProvides basic level support for network serversSystem maintenance for help desk ticket database that is utilized company wideDevelop, maintain, modify, and report on standard problems, resolutions, and decision trees for use by the entire teamPerform regular file maintenance of help desk ticket system softwareProvide written documentation on any changes to the I.T. infrastructureRequirements:

Associate Degree in Computer Science or equivalent requiredDesktop support experience with Windows 11 installation, support, patching and troubleshootingExperience with Office 365 installation, support, patching and troubleshootingExperience with Windows networking TCP/IP configuration and troubleshootingInstallation and troubleshooting 3rd party applications on desktop experienceStrong verbal communication and people skills requiredExperience troubleshooting network printersExcellent attention to detail requiredMAC OS experience a plusComp TIA A+ a plus
