The Senior Web Designer will play an active and integral role in Auctane's eCommerce growth strategy as the conduit between Creative and Dev within the Marketing organization. Working in partnership with copywriters, other designers, front-end developers, and project owners, this role will be responsible for developing strategy and design for all of Auctane's products on the web and email.This position is
hybrid (3 days per week in office)
and is located in
Austin, Texas.Travel Requirements:Less than 5%What will you be doing?
Create and maintain design standards of excellence for all digital marketing assets, sites, and email, across all Auctane productsAct as expert and point of contact for web strategy and functional executionManage, maintain, and evolve web and email design processes, tools and resourcesSupport the dev team where necessary to ensure consistency and accuracyExecute web projects with a focus on best practices and brand standardsAnalyze and consult on all web and email projects to ensure all requirements and considerations are metMaintain usability and accessibility standardsPromote and guide stakeholders through a user-centered design approachConsult and collaborate on testing opportunitiesExecute a wide array of digital and visual design deliverablesWhat are we looking for?
7+ years of web & digital designBA Degree in web/graphic designExperience designing, implementing, and launching large corporate sites and integrated marketing campaign experiencesExtensive experience working with modern web tools, applications, and platforms (Figma, Adobe CC, etc)Expert knowledge of Figma and workflow standardsWhat will make you stand out?
Master-level experience with Figma and other digital design softwareA strong creative thinker and design eyeA team player and ability to be a creative ambassador across the enterpriseB2C, B2B, SaaS experienceMobile-first design approach but proficient and experienced designing across all form factorsAbility to produce motion studies, prototypes, micro-interactions and transitionsYou’re a master of your craft, user experience matters from first load to bottom of the page, brand, type, image, motion, and accessibility matter; all of your work “works as good as it looks”You test and learn, all the time.
