Make history with us.General Summary:The Manager, Brand Finance provides all aspects of financial business support to Campbell Snacks Business Unit Leadership, and provides proactive financial analysis aimed at achieving Sales, Gross Margin and EBIT targets. Managing at least one analyst, the Manager, Brand Finance is responsible for all business unit FP&A, financial assessment on projects, provides return on investment (ROI) analysis on business propositions as well as pricing analyses and financial modeling for several business partners. These partners could extend beyond marketing to include such functions as Sales, Product Development and Operations.Principal Accountabilities:Provide analysis to quantify financial impacts and provide recommendations to minimize risk while maximizing profit opportunities. Maintain a regular dialogue with marketing and cross-functional teams, providing financial guidance, and ensuring that the business team is on track to deliver against both quarterly/annual as well as long-term business objectives. Examples include Strategic Planning, Marketing ROI/Mktg Contribution analyses, capacity/investment trade-off decisions, and overall vol/rate/mix analysis (EVA).Manage the gating/commercialization process with direct report(s), analyzing impact of all new items, platforms, price changes, enabler programs, etc. This includes proforma P&Ls for new product development, validating/challenging assumptions and working closely with both Supply Chain and Sales to arrive at accurate costing and to understand pricing/trade strategy.Support the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, including creation of monthly analytics/presentations used for Senior Management. Prepare business unit management review analysis containing commentary on changes versus prior year, plan and projection while identifying risks and opportunities to the projection.Manage/develop analyst(s) while assisting in Campbell Snacks/Enterprise continuous improvement initiatives for the Finance team.Job Complexity:Provide decision support for strategic business initiatives. This position requires ability to interact and communicate effectively with senior management. Breadth of knowledge must extend beyond finance to sales, marketing, operations and product development. Identify risks/opportunities/trends in the business and translate into actionable profit improvement objectives. Sustain a high level of competence and professionalism in a dynamic business environment. Facilitate the communication of financial understanding to business leaders. Ensure financial processes are adhered to according to CSC standards and best practices. Identify internal processes that can be improved and build/administrate related action plans. This position requires the ability to collect and manipulate data from several different sources in order to provide meaningful analysis to all business partners.Job Specifications:Bachelor's degree requiredMinimum 10 years of related financial experience is requiredAttention to detailStrong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build strong working relationships across multiple business functions and has the ability to influence others in a matrix environment.Management of and delegation to an analyst to efficiently and effectively perform all responsibilities aboveSelf-starter; Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.Advanced Excel skillsERP system-savvy (SAP, MicroStrategy, BPC/EPM)Continuous improvement mentalityProficient in GAAPWorking Conditions:This position will work in a company headquarter (Camden, NJ) 3 days a week. Travel as needed (0-5%) to company meetings, plant visits, company training, customer meetings, and other regions as business requires. Travel should be minimal.Compensation and Benefits:The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $85,900-$140,800. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
