- is a 60-day program with a Professional Parent model designed to provide a comprehensive integrated service model for children/adolescents at risk of out-of-home placement, abuse, and neglect. Services will be tailored to support children and their families represented in the Child Welfare System. We serve the highest acuity youths in the county and provide 24/7 crisis stabilization support as needed.JOB SUMMARY:Scheduled Hours per Day:

Monday-Friday -8am to 5pm, with flexible 8-hour days.Working hours will vary based on program and family needs, typically ranging from 8 am to 8 pm or beyond.Works within the vision, mission, and philosophy of the agency. Provides support to youth receiving services to ensure that the youth’s voice is heard throughout all phases of treatment. Uses personal life experience to establish credibility and infuse hope for a better future. Demonstrates unconditional acceptance and models life skills. The Youth Partner participates in program and community meetings to maximize youth voice and involvement throughout the service delivery process.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESProvides support to youth and families in achieving their treatment goals.Strategically utilizes personal life experience to demonstrate that recovery and resilience are possible for youth served by the program.Engages youth and families in ways that demonstrate understanding of their perspective and creates a positive connection through the service delivery experience.Connects with youth to encourage and support their engagement in treatment planning and participation in school/community activities.Models and coaches positive attitudes and behaviors in managing different situations.Mentors, coaches, and teaches independent living and self-advocacy skills.Supports youth connection with community resources and natural supports.Assists in the organization and facilitation of youth activities.Facilitates groups for youth including the Youth Advisory Board.Provides a youth perspective in agency meetings to increase awareness of youth perspectives.Attends county and community meetings as requested.Performs other responsibilities as assigned to support specific department needs.JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIESContributes To Team PerformanceEncouraging Customer FocusPersonal DisclosureSelf KnowledgeStanding AloneQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
