**On-Site Requirements : On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD. Training/tasking may require occasional on-site work at Patuxent River, MD. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received.
Essential Functions:Discovers opportunities for data acquisition and sensor integration.Performs systems engineering for databases and data processing systems.Develops data systems, architectures and models.Leverages high-performance computing infrastructures into systems architecture.Recommends best architectures, tools, and technologies to address organizational needs.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications and Experience:
Required:
Experience in data engineering support
Security Clearance:Must have an active or interim secret clearance. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
Education:BS/BA degree in Information Technology or a related discipline and 3 years related experience, OR AA/AS degree in Information Technology or a related discipline and 7 years related experience, OR HS diploma/GED and 9 years related experience
