IT Solution Architect

A retail employer is looking for an IT Solution Architect to join their team in Katy, Tx. This person will report to the Director of Enterprise Architecture and work alongside other Solution Architects to identify and recommend appropriate solutions, complete upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership. They will also work with the business and technology stakeholders to derive end-to-end solutions that provide value to the enterprise and ensure these solutions comply with standards and guidelines set forth by Enterprise Architecture, as well as model solutions from conceptual, logical and physical perspectives. Additionally, they will create artifacts that define the N+1 views of the end-to-end solutions (context, data domain, logical, physical, and deployment), facilitate the requirements refinement process, and collaborate with other parts of IT to ensure a thorough understanding of the architecture, and participate in design reviews to ensure traceability of the design to the proposed solution architecture. This person will report onsite in Katy, Tx. (Mon-Thurs 8-8, Fri 8-12 pm). The salary for the role is dependent upon experience and ranges between $140,000-160,000 annually.

Required Skills & Experience-10+ years of enterprise operations and 10+ years of cloud solutioning experience-Deep knowledge of integration architecture practices, enterprise systems, and trends in cloud applications, system integration and migration.-Strong experience implementing Customer Data Platforms such as Treasure Data-Strategic design, implementation and migration of hybrid Google, AWS/Azure cloud solutions utilizing private and public cloud platforms, as well as experience identifying and selecting optimal multi-cloud architecture.-2-3 years of experience within retail industry.-Strong experience in services (SOA/Microservices)-Strong experience with retailing COTS enterprise class applications

Nice to Have Skills & Experience-Preferred skills include strong optimization skills stochastic modeling, optimization algorithms, holistic planning-Prior hands-on experience implementing Treasure Data CDP.
