Responsibilities
Design and implement security protocols and systems to protect against cyber threats.Conduct regular penetration tests and security assessments to identify vulnerabilities.Monitor network traffic for suspicious behavior and respond to security incidents promptly.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into existing processes.Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.Provide training and awareness programs to staff about security risks and protective measures.Research and stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions.Requirements
Must be a U.S. citizen.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience in a Security Engineer role or similar positions.Strong understanding of network security protocols, firewalls, and encryption technologies.Knowledge of various operating systems and their security architectures.Familiarity with common security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS.Experience with security assessment tools and incident response methodologies.Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly desirable.
