This role offers a flexible hybrid work schedule, combining both remote and in-office work. The HR Manager will oversee all HR functions, ensuring the organization complies with local, state, and federal regulations. Responsibilities include recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, policy development, and payroll.Come work with a diverse organization that embraces employee wellness, integrity, and transparency. This position requires San Diego, CA residency.
Key Responsibilities:Oversee full-cycle recruitment and employee onboardingManage employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance managementAdminister employee benefits, payroll, and HR policiesEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local labor lawsDevelop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization’s goalsSupport diversity, equity, and inclusion initiativesMaintain HR records and utilize HR software for efficient managementQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field is preferred but not requiredMinimum of 2 years of HR management experience, preferably in a nonprofit settingStrong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practicesExcellent communication and organizational skillsProficiency in HR software and systemsKnowledge of ADP system is preferredKnowledge of DEI initiativesCandidate is required to live in San Diego County, CAWorking Hours:40 hours per weekFull-timeHybrid work scheduleMonday- Friday8:00am-5:00pm PST
