Database Developer
Job Duties and Skills:
Data Mining in various data warehouses and data-martsQuality assurance on tools by configuring test plans in SOAP UI, executing test cases, first-level triage of defects foundCreate and maintain ETL process in SSISConduct peer testing, code review and impact analysis of the script developed by the other membersCreate technical design specifications, database alerts, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, debug, tune and optimize database performance.Write procedures and SQL rules to clean up dataDevelop workflows and procedures to automate the data load from disparate systems and create alerts to trigger the status of the jobs.Coordinate application installs and change management.Conduct application development sessions and train end users as needed.Drive the analysis, design, and development of databases and BI objects and perform enhancements to current BI artifacts.Modify the SQL of the existing OBI reports and write queries to create new metricsContribute to team discussions presenting ideas, sharing knowledge and listening to others' ideas.Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor's degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.Work location is Charlotte, NC with required travel to client locations throughout the USA.
