Position Overview

Are you ready to take your design career to the next level? As a Visual Designer at Stanley 1913, you will have the unique opportunity to craft how Stanley shows up for its consumers. This is a valuable role that requires a proven track record in customer-first graphic design. We are seeking a creative individual who is passionate about design and can bring fresh perspectives to the table.

About the role

Design visual communications for multiple channels, including email campaigns, website content, social media content, digital advertising, marketing collateral, catalogs, trade materials, sales presentations, packaging, and retail signage.Design engaging user experiences for our ecommerce channel, including content experiences, user interface designs, data-driven site design improvements, and data-driven email marketing campaigns.Ensure all work is aligned with brand guidelines and industry standards.Participate in brainstorming sessions with the creative team as well as cross-functional partners to arrive at creative concepts that inspire consumers, fulfill the Stanley brand promise, and meet the needs of the business.Work with designers, photographers, and motion editors to create engaging and timely content for a variety of platforms.Lead multiple projects from concept to completion on varying timelines while communicating project status to managers, teammates, and partners.Tap into design and industry trends and share research and inspiration with the greater team.Take an active role in growing the creative function at Stanley.We are looking for

Expert visual designer skills with a keen eye for typography, and a proficiency in fundamental design principals.Highly motivated and collaborative - taking ownership of projects and at the same time, being objective and adaptable to feedback.Self-motivated, able to take initiative with the ability to work independently when needed.Creative, collaborative and confidentExpert knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud - Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint and Excel.Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbally and visually.Proficient working in web-based platforms, like content management systems (CMS), email service providers (ESP), and digital asset management tools (DAM).Education and Experience

Degree or equivalent experience in Visual Communication, Graphic Art, or Graphic Design.3-5 years of professional graphic or web design experience.Online portfolio representing current relevant work.

Salary Range:

$90,000-$110,000

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience. Stanley is a total rewards company, which includes rewards beyond base salary. At Stanley, full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus, based on company and individual results.
