Technology SolutionsJob Description:The IT Solutions Design Specialist (Axiom Developer) leads the creation of a comprehensive end-to-end detailed solution with overall accountability for the technical design and delivery of the System Design Specification (SDS) and is largely focused on large-scale, complex or enterprise projects. May also be accountable for complex programming / coding.Day to Day:Hands-on development experience on AXIOM Controller ViewSolution Design and Development of FDIC/U.S. Regulatory reports in AXIOMCo-ordinate and closely work with business on regulatory requirements.Work independently as well as lead a team of AXIOM developers.Hands-on experience on all the Axiom objects i.e., Data sources, Data models, Shorthand’s, Portfolios, Aggregations, Freeform Report and WorkflowsProficient in Oracle & PL/SQL programmingGood functional understanding of FDIC Regulatory requirements and reportingDepth & Scope:Provides technical expertise and guidance to others in a lead capacity and works autonomouslyExpert knowledge of the business, the broader organization, technical environment, processes, procedures, tools and other relevant technology areas from a design / support / solutions perspectivePrimary subject matter expert in multiple areas and consults with clients/or project teams with respect to all aspects of research, analysis, design, hardware / software support and/or development of technical solutions and/or testingWorks autonomously and leads on a diverse range of activities (e.g. design, support of technical business solutions) and is relied upon to coach / educate and monitor the work of othersActs as an internal expert resource in the exchange of technical information for project teams, and provides technical insight and recommendations to the business and/or outside vendorsTypically reports to a Senior IT Development Manager or higherEducation & Experience:Undergraduate degree or Technical CertificateGraduate degree, preferred7+ years related experiencePreferred qualification:AXIOM CertificationWho We Are:TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
