Strong research and writing skills are essential, and courtroom motion practice experience is preferred. The role involves continuous communication with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel, as well as performing various court appearances and other assigned duties.Duties:Collaborate with a senior litigator on complex serious personal injury cases.Take and defend depositions, ensuring thorough and accurate documentation.Draft and prepare discovery requests, pleadings, and motions.Monitor case progress and update clients and stakeholders on developments.Prepare for and participate in jury trials, including presenting evidence and arguments.Maintain continuous communication with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel.Attend court appearances as required and represent the firm effectively.Perform additional duties as assigned by senior attorneys or firm leadership.Requirements:1-3 years of experience handling personal injury cases.Strong research and writing skills.Courtroom motion practice experience preferred.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a fully accredited law school.Strong academic record preferred.Certifications:Active membership in good standing with the State Bar Association.Illinois and Missouri licenses required.Skills:Proficient in legal research and writing.Experienced in taking and defending depositions.Ability to draft and prepare legal documents, including discovery requests, pleadings, and motions.Competent in courtroom motion practice and trial preparation.Strong organizational skills to monitor case progress and handle multiple responsibilities.Effective communicator with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel.Company infoBCG Attorney Search200 South Wacker Drive, 31st FloorChicagoIllinoisUnited States 60606Phone :
