ResponsibilitiesJames F. Butler & Associates, insurance staff counsel for State Farm Insurance Companies, is seeking a paralegal to join the Westchester, NY office. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, supporting Attorneys with discovery, trial preparation, pleadings and pre-trial motions in first and third party insurance defense/bodily injury cases. The most qualified candidates will have the ability to communicate effectively, work independently, and prioritize workload in a fast paced and time sensitive environment.This is a hybrid position

working Monday-Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The selected candidate should plan to spend time working both in the Westchester office and from home as part of a hybrid work arrangement.Office location:

Qualifications1-7 years of paralegal experience preferably in insurance defense or personal injury environmentParalegal degree, certificate, and/or paralegal educationAbility to draft pleadings, routine motions, discovery, and legal memorandaFamiliarity with Court Rules and ProceduresExperience with discovery processTrial preparation experienceUnderstanding of medical terminology and recordsUnderstanding of internet information resources and software applicationsPotential salary range:

$66,117.19-$80,000Potential yearly incentive pay:
