The

Sales & Operations Planning Manager

will collaborate closely with the Supply Chain Function and Business Units. The role will be responsible for leading the demand planning process and forecasting team to ensure we meet our customer's needs and optimize our supply chain operations. This role will also develop new forecasting tools and scalable processes to simplify growing business complexities and improve forecast accuracy.

The S&OP Manager will present data and provide demand insights into the S&OP process. This role will also drive cross-functional alignment on forecasting decisions amongst the key stakeholders: Sales, Supply Planning, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities include:

Manages the Demand Planning processes to optimize aligned forecasts with Business UnitsCreates monthly Demand forecast in collaboration with Business Units and Supply ChainAdjusts item level forecasts when necessary and identifies potential issues to the Business Units Partner with Functional Teams and Business Units to gather inputs to build the consensus demand plan through the S&OP processWork closely with the supply planning team to understand and resolve known supply constraints or excess inventory risks and communicate to commercial teams in the S&OP demand reviewWork with the business in action plans to help in the excess/obsolete reductionEnsure consistency of forecast assumptions across the business unit, including base business forecasts, promotional plans, new product launches, and seasonal volumeEnsure alignment of Demand Forecast with Sales Estimate and/or provide reconciliation and analysis of varianceAnalyze historical sales data and future plansWork cross-functionality and proactively monitor forecast error/accuracy including root cause analysis to achieve continuous improvement in demand forecast accuracyPrepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to the S&OP and demand planning processQualifications include:

BA/BS degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field preferredMinimum 5 years of relevant business experience within Forecasting, Supply Chain, and/or S&OP leadershipPossess well-developed communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills to be able to build strong work relationships with all levels of the organizationPossess strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and work independentlyAttention to detailDemonstrate professional judgment and sound decision-making skillsAbility to manage in complex situation often needing to deliver innovative resultsPreferred experience in Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, JDEdwards E1, and Oracle Fusion
