Since 1984, Larkin Street Youth Services has helped more than 75,000 young adults in San Francisco with outreach, shelter, housing, education, employment, healthcare, and other services.Today, Larkin Street Youth Services is the largest provider of housing and services to homeless youth in the Bay Area. Our focus is always on the young people at the heart of our mission and to nurture potential, promote dignity and support bold steps by all.Under the direction and guidance of the Chief of Programs, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Wellness and Client Practice Departments, including harm reduction, clinical services, and client practice. This includes hiring, training, and supervising Program Managers, Program Staff, and Interns while collaborating with the Division Director to move the strategic priorities of the Wellness Department forward. As a member of the leadership team, you will take an active role in collaborating with other leadership and community partners to bring alive Larkin Street’s mission and values in all aspects of operation.This is a full-time position, eligible for full benefits.Your Responsibilities:

Provide direct oversight in hiring, training, and supervision of program staff, primarily through direct supervision of Program Manager(s).Build the client practice team, ensuring non-clinical staff have sufficient training to advance the case management practice.Develop, oversee, and evaluate programming.Provide outreach, workshops, consultation, and crisis response.Represent the agency at external meetings; develop and promote contacts, working relationships, and cooperative collaboration between Larkin Street’s Wellness services and other agencies and behavioral health services organizations.Oversee budgets, data collection and tracking, contract requirements, and program outcomes.Promote collaboration, cross-training, and dual programming among program teams within the division and throughout the agency.Hold On-Call responsibilities as assigned and scheduled in rotation.Assist with special projects and other assignments as requested by Senior Leadership and the Chief of Programs.Who You Are:

You are passionate about the Larkin Street Youth Services mission to end youth homelessness.You hold a valid LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC. Associates may be considered, but a valid license is strongly preferred.You have some experience working with Transitional Aged Youth (TAY), aged 18 to 25 of diverse backgrounds, similar to the client base at Larkin Street Youth Services.

You have experience working in shelter, transitional, and/or permanent supportive housing programs.You are a self-starter and team player. Your colleagues describe you as patient, compassionate, and organized.You work best in a hybrid working environment with up to 2 days per week working from home.You are available for an on-call consultant rotation every 6 to 8 weeks.You are willing to work holidays occasionally.You are able to travel independently throughout Bay Area (primarily San Francisco) to visit various program sites and partner agencies.You are vaccinated against COVID-19.The Perks:
