Job Description:
Pay Range: $75hr - $80hr
Release Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of software releases within an Agile environment.Collaborate with the product owner, Scrum Master, and development team to create release plans that align with project goals and objectives.Define release scope, timelines, dependencies, and resource requirements.ct as a central point of contact for all release-related activities.Coordinate with development, testing, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of the release plan.Schedule and conduct release-related meetings and address any issues or conflicts that may arise during the process.Keep stakeholders informed of release progress and status.Identify and manage risks associated with releases, such as potential conflicts with production systems, security vulnerabilities, or impact on user experience.ssess risks, develop mitigation plans, and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.Collaborate with the change management team to assess the impact of releases on existing systems, infrastructure, and user workflows.Ensure that all necessary documentation, training, and communication materials are prepared to support end-users during the transition.Oversee the actual deployment of software releases into production environments, ensuring they are properly tested and meet quality standards.Coordinate with release engineers or deployment specialists to ensure smooth and efficient deployment with minimal disruption to operations.Proven experience as an Agile Release Manager or similar role on Drupal/ CMS platforms Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, principles, and practices.Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.bility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Knowledge of software development and release management best practices.Solid understanding of change management principles and practices.Experience with release management tools and technologies.Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.Excellent time management and prioritization abilities.To oversee quality assurance processes, ensuring adherence to coding standards , implementation of best practices and perform Value creation and KM activities.To ensure process improvement and compliance, and participate in technical design discussion and to review technical documents.To create project plans and keep track of schedule for on time delivery as per the defined quality standards.To work closely with the development team, On-site Engineers to understand technical requirements and work with them to address and resolve technical issues.Identify and flag potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or quality, develop mitigation strategies or contingency plans to address risks and provide regular project updates to key stakeholders.
