Job Description

Role Overview

The Student Enrollment and Data Team is focused on ensuring that schools are fully enrolled so that students are free to create the future they want for themselves and their communities. The team supports this vision through application acquisition, family onboarding, cultivation, and persistence. The Director of Student Recruitment is responsible for developing and implementing strategic recruitment initiatives to attract prospective students and families to our school. This role will partner closely NTK Enrollment, Marketing team, and School Operations, and school management. The Director will be someone who is a results-driven leader with extensive experience in recruitment, strong interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of the K-12 educational landscape

Key Responsibilities

StrategyDevelop and execute a comprehensive field recruitment strategy aligned with the school's mission, vision, and enrollment goalsReview regional field plan to evaluate application acquisition efforts and return on investmentPlan and coordinate recruitment events, including school fairs, open houses, information sessions, and community outreach initiativesDevelop and maintain relationships with feeder schools, community organizations, and educational partners to expand recruitment networksBuild awareness in the community by participating in grassroots outreach tactics, including canvassing door-to-door and around the neighborhoodEnsures the team has collateral, swag, and resources needed for recruitment in the fieldRecruits, Hires, Onboards, Develops and leads a high-performing team

Builds a strong and diverse team with an inclusive culture that brings out each team member's strengths and ignites actionsManages and develops others toward excellence in their role and with an eye toward their long-term developmentResponsible for observing and providing real-time feedback to managers and recruiters in the fieldEstablishes ongoing, regular cadence to facilitate collaboration, training and support of the teamProgress monitors the execution of responsibilities of the team in order to drive operational excellenceData Management and Reporting

Establish metrics and key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness and impact of student acquisition and experienceUtilize data analytics tools to track and measure the effectiveness of recruitment effortsPrepare regular reports on persistence, trends, and projections for senior leadership, school board members, and other stakeholdersQualifications

Skills and Qualifications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.Strong project and time management skills; ability to effectively backwards plan, juggle multiple priorities with great attention to detail, and deliver consistent and timely resultsStrong strategic and analytical skills with an aptitude for shifting from in moment troubleshooting to systems-buildingProven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational excellence.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Required Education and/or Experience

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in enrollment management or admissions leadership, in an educational setting, preferably in public charter schoolsPhysical Requirements

Compensation and Benefits

Salary is based on years of experience, degree of education, and level of expertise.
