Position Summary

The

IT Manager

is responsible for overseeing the organization's IT infrastructure and ensuring its smooth operation. This role will involve managing on-premise data center, cloud infrastructure, network administration, server administration, storage administration, phone system, security, and supporting the Enterprise Resource Planning system (cloud hosted). The IT Manager will also be responsible for desktop support, disaster recovery planning, and setting service level agreements across various infrastructure functions.

Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure Management:Manage on-premise data center and cloud infrastructure.Administer network, servers, storage, and phone systems.Implement and maintain robust security measures.Support the Enterprise Resource Planning system.

Service Level Agreements:Set and monitor service level agreements for various infrastructure functions.Ensure timely response to and resolution of IT issues.

Proactive Monitoring:Implement proactive monitoring tools to identify potential problems.Respond promptly to issues to minimize downtime.

Equipment Management:Replace and update equipment as needed to support business operations.Manage hardware and software assets.

Desktop Support:Provide technical support to end-users.Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

Disaster Recovery Planning:Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans.Test and update plans regularly.

Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.5+ years of experience in IT management or a related role.Strong technical skills in network administration, server administration, and security.Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systems.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications

Certification in IT management or related field (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA).Experience with manufacturing or industrial environments.
