Starting Wage: $22.22 + $2.30 shift differential

Shift: 2nd shift, Monday - Thursday, 5:00 pm - 3:30 am

Location: Faribault North

Responsible for shipping and receiving purchased or transferred stock and material and finished itemsUnload incoming materials or purchased parts. Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages and correspond with Shipper to rectify damages and shortagesRead work orders or follow verbal instructions to move items into and out of storage, Kitting area and/or production areas. Maintain necessary information and record for inventory locations on the computer and ensure appropriate flow with the materials/goods throughout the processPerform cycle counting functions to ensure proper inventory levelsSelect containers for parts or productsPack and seal parts, coils or sections into or onto fabricated containers or skids.Load materials into/onto trucks and install strapping, bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transitUse overhead crane and sheet lifter to load and unload sheet metal to maintain proper inventory in NighttrainMonitor and empty scrap tanks as assignedOversee the incoming materials and kitting process to ensure that purchased part kits are complete and meet production requirements. Responsible for receiving and issuing of all material for area. Responsible for setup and documentation flow through assigned areaPerform inventory transactions and cycle countsMust exhibit attention to detail with a focus on quality workTrain new members on the various machines, procedures, safe work practices and any pertinent items regarding safety, quality and productionResponsible for maintaining the 5s program to ensure a clean work areaFollow and understand HOMESafe , Personal Choice and company safety manual requirements.Identify and rework defective work pieces to comply with quality standards.Ability to use hand toolsOperate PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks), obtain PIT LicenseAll other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications :

Ability to operate hand toolsAbility to read and understand written EnglishPreferred Qualifications :

High School Diploma or GEDPrevious manufacturing experience
