About Us:The Dance Academy of Virginia is a premier dance school with two locations, dedicated to fostering a creative and inspiring learning environment for students of all ages. We blend traditional techniques with contemporary styles to cultivate the next generation of dancers. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Marketing and Sales Director to lead our marketing initiatives and drive enrollment growth.
Position Overview:The Marketing and Sales Director will be instrumental in shaping and executing our marketing strategy, managing key performance indicators (KPIs), developing engaging content, and expanding our social media presence. This role requires a strategic thinker and an executor who can collaborate effectively across various channels, including website optimization, social media, public relations, Google SEO/ads, and more.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute marketing strategies aligning with school goals.
Manage KPIs, sales calls, and email communications.
Create engaging content for various platforms.
Execute website optimization, social media management, and PR.
Expand our social media presence on platforms like YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Execute Google SEO and ad campaigns.
Request and manage testimonials and reviews & develop the parent ambassador program.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a marketing and sales role, preferably in education or performing arts.
Strong background in developing and executing marketing strategies and overseeing KPIs.
Proficient in digital marketing, social media management, website optimization, and SEO/ads.
Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal skills and team player attitude.
Ability to thrive in a local small business fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing needs.
