Position Summary
The Buyer/Planner will be responsible for analyzing material requirements to support Customer on-time delivery and optimal inventory levels. The Buyer/ Planner will be responsible for dating the order, purchasing (Direct, STO, MRO, and Outside Processing), and managing inventory levels to ensure that appropriate amounts of materials are planned to meet customer and business requirements.
The person in this position will interface directly with Customer Care, Engineering, Production Management, Receiving, Shipping, Regal Rexnord central service functions and suppliers.
Responsibilities :Develop final production plan to meet customer delivery requirementsActively work with internal and external suppliers to prioritize materials ensuring on-time deliveryManage inventory levels, storage and records accuracyInterface daily with Regal Rexnord Customer Care team to resolve Customer casesLead and actively participate in continuous improvement efforts utilizing RRBS (Regal Rexnord Business System) toolsOther duties as assigned by supervisor/managerQualifications:
Experience and Skill Required
Previous experience working in an industrial manufacturing environmentDemonstrated MRP experience using an integrated ERP systemStrong understanding and working knowledge of MRP and ERP terminology, processes, and logicStrong attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and OutlookHS Diploma or equivalent, Associate Degree preferred3 - 5 years experiencePay transparency: $45,000- $65,000 annual salary
