Salary:

$107,000 - $160,500, plus annual bonus

The Lead IT Business Analyst reporting to the Manager of Applications is responsible for managing complex IT application projects while guiding and training less experienced Business Analysts.

The Lead IT Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing, validating, and documenting business, organizational, and/or operational requirements You will also act as a liaison between the business area, IT, and other project stakeholders. Overall the Lead IT Business Analyst at this level are considered fully competent to independently perform work assignments.

Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Business Planning

- begins eliciting business requirements and modeling processes (as-is/to-be, using Business Processing and/or Infrastructure, and ServicesDefinition and Design

- facilities workshops to evolve scope, gathers detailed requirements, develops use cases and begin visualizing the end result, using standard tools and techniquesRequirements Elicitation

- Lead, designs and facilitates business engagements to establish scope, business needs, project outcomes and expectations on business processesRequirements Development

- Works to ensure that quality business requirements are produced, accepted and approved by the key stakeholder to ensure effective and successful delivery of business solution designsRequirements Management

- Oversees end-to-end traceability against quality business requirements using appropriate tools and templatesSolution Assessment & Validation

- Engages with key stakeholders to influence the solution design to meet business goals, scope and strategy requirements. Provides input into the identification and delivery of project benefits, traceability of requirements and impact of solutions. Develops cross business and service user communications, acceptance test plans and supports testing and implementationDelivery and Deployment

- Consulting role providing clarification services regarding the project Vision, Scope and Requirements, plus assessing and managing Change Requests through the standard process. Assists testing teams in crafting suitable test scripts.You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.7+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst7+ years of experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation5+ years of experience using MS Products such as Visio, PowerPoint, etc.Preferred Qualifications

Certified Business Analyst professional (CBAP) strongly preferredRelated experience in the utility industryKnowledge/experience using testing tool like Tricentis qTest
