Job Description -
he ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) Developer will be part of a data and business intelligence team that develops full lifecycle data analytics applications. This individual will be responsible for all tasks related to the data integration activities to include performing analysis of source systems, source-to-target mapping, designing data integration routines, assisting with data modelling, developing data migration scripts, and performing testing. The ETL developer will primarily work in a Microsoft based environment using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) as the primary ETL tool.Expertise in handling complex SQL queriesExperience in creating complex packagesKnowledge in Scheduling and scripting of the packagesExcellent knowledge in Debugging and tracing errors in execution.Experience with Data warehousing conceptsGood knowledge on Data modelling conceptsExcellent communication skills.The SSIS- ETL Developer will be responsible for design and development of BI solutions, update of data analytics platformsA commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality BI solutions development is essentialJob Responsibilities
Translate business needs to technical specificationsEvaluate and improve existing SSIS projectsTake ownership of SSIS projectsProficient in T-SQL coding: query writing, stored procedures, triggers and user-defined functions.Create SSIS packages with best practices, error handling, loggingAble to troubleshoot SSIS errors by running and analysing underlying database queriesCreate visualizations and business intelligence reports for client projects using Power BITake care of end-to-end project execution for clientsMust have
