Solid SQL and data modeling experience is required.At least 5 years of experience delivering projects with Microsoft Power BI. DOMO not required but is a plus. *Degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Engineering, closely related field or equivalent experience.Experience with other leading tools in the market such as Business Objects, Cognos, Tableau, Microsoft reporting services is a plus.Experience developing semantic models and analytics on data from ERP and Operations Support Systems.Must have the ability to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies quickly.Must be able to clearly communicate new features and issues at all levels in the organization.works with several cloud /SaaS/data sources, so the BI Engineer must be able to learn them quickly, assist in profiling data, and work closely with DLAP data models / SQL.Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously and work on a team or individually.Ability to associate key performance indicators (leading and lagging) with business processes and the cause/effect relationships of isolated indicators and sets of indicators.Required ability to work with key staff in remote geographical locations across multiple U.S. time zones.

Required Skills & Experience

Design, develop and support BI solutions using Microsoft Power BI or similar BI Tool (Qlik View, Cognos, Tableau, Domo) on a wide variety of databases including but not limited to databases such as Databricks, SQL Server, MS Access, MS SharePoint and MS Excel.Work closely with Data Lake (DLAP) Team to ensure the BI solution (Power BI) sources all data from the lake complying to enterprise data architecture. All data transformations, wrangling, business rules, business logic and calculations are done in the data lake while BI solution and Domo visualizations are the consumers of the processed data.Work with Data architect and data modeler for relevant BI Data and data extracts necessary for enterprise-wide dashboards to serve KPIs and metrics to senior leadership.Work closely with the IMA Director and BI Leadership, support all aspects of the BI solution and participate in EIM meetings with data stewards and business/IT uranging from SVPs to business analysts to identify KPI dashboard requirements, data sources and aggregate data objects, and create data flow diagrams to support the metrics.Work through multiple disparate data sources and quickly identify the required data elements for developing dashboards. Identify the business logic and create load scripts to apply the business rules.Research and understand unique business processes across The brands and identify creative solutions to bridging the gaps to standardize data and data use across entire company.Demonstrate creative, strategic thinking and problem solving; able to exercise independent judgment in a highly complex environment using leading-edge technology.Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills with technical and non-technical clients.
