Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Atlanta, GAThis is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Supports End to End Technology for programs and projectsPerforms project management responsibilities relating to information technology implementations, upgrades, conversion and recoveryRole has direct and matrixed execution responsibility across all technology organizations as well as LOB Portfolio/Program Manager on the business side for delivering the program/projectsManages multiple projects or a single major projectPartners with Program and Project Managers and SMEs to create business requirements for technology solutionsAssists with technology estimates, manages low to moderate complexity technology solutions for projects to a full-scale deployment in a live environmentManages timelines and communicates project status and has matrix management responsibilityBuild positive give and take relationships with stakeholdersUse the right questions and tools to uncover root causes to business challenges, identify opportunities, and make recommendationsPlan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple teamsFacilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverablesPromote/facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timelineCoordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, and so on)Gather/facilitate status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and scheduleEnsure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholdersEnsure deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standardsSupport resource planning for delivery/executionPerform project management responsibilities relating to information technology implementations, upgrades, conversion and recoveryDirect and matrixed execution responsibility across all technology organizations as well as LOB Portfolio/Program Manager on the business side for delivering the program/projectsInvolved indirectly with handling financials, forecasting and governance reporting and must be aware of those processes as relates to programs/projectsManage the release activities and responsible for all governance and compliance required deliverables for acceptance and entry into the release
Requirements:
5-7 years of applicable experienceSeasoned Project Manager that has managed complex end-to-end technology programs and projects in their past experience
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of Payments or Financial Services spaceFamiliarity with various project management toolsExperience delivering large projects with significant impact to multiple lines of business, that may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implicationsExperience driving multiple projects simultaneouslyAgile experienceMerchant services experience
Pay Range:
$55.15-$63.15
