Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa's network clients, including both financial services and merchants. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, Visa Consulting and Analytics solves the most strategic problems for our clients.The US Consulting Practice within VCA provides consulting and solution services for Visa issuers across the United States. We apply deep expertise in the payments industry to provide solutions to assist clients with their key business priorities, drive growth, and improve profitability. The VCA team provides a comprehensive range of consulting services to deliver solutions that address unique challenges in areas such as improving profitability, strategic growth, customer experience, digital payments, and managing risk.The Sr. Director will play a leadership role on a team of experienced strategic consulting professionals developing and delivering high impact projects for Visa's Community FI Partners. Potential engagements could include market expansion, revenue uplift, segmentation, portfolio management diagnostics, authorization optimization strategies, assessments of digital product and marketing programs, development of new products with implementation roadmaps, and optimizing client customer servicing processes.We are looking for highly motivated, strategic, analytical individuals who will deliver strategic thought leadership, problem diagnostics, and high impact solutions to clients. The incumbent must be able to develop enduring, strategic relationships with clients and across the Visa organization.Specific responsibilities include:Lead a team of client segment leads (Directors) supporting needs for business development, project delivery, and career progression, helping prioritize initiatives against budget and highest value.Provide thought-leadership on go-to-market approach to drive sales in collaboration with key business partners, such as sales, Marketing Services, etc. including ownership of campaigns and calendar to drive high-volume sales through AEs.Provide pipeline reporting and oversight to ensure accurate opportunity management.Lean in select engagements to support an apprenticeship model to develop great consulting talent.Align with the Delivery Hub team to ensure close collaboration and successful delivery of scaled solutions.Partner with Visa Data Science and Solutions teams to develop scaled consulting engagements with the right level of customization for community clients.Key Competencies:Substantial problem-solving ability with strategic focus on impacting ROI.Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor and ability to work with large data sets to synthesize key impacts for clients.Self-motivated, results-oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently.Executive Presence including excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, and ability to communicate at all levels within large organizations.Demonstrated leadership, managerial, and collaboration capabilities, particularly with those who are not direct reports as may be found in a matrixed organization.Experience in managing teams in execution of projects and career mentorship.Holds self and others accountable for measurable high quality, timely and effective results. Displays a strong commitment to organizational success.Ability to identify key strategic issues and to generate and deliver creative and innovative solutions to problems and opportunities.Experience in several key issuer business areas, such as portfolio management, marketing, product management, operations, risk management, for both credit and debit cards.Understanding of card issuers P&L and critical factors in driving profitability.Ability to influence and negotiate with senior executives.Prior experience working with Regional and Community banks, credit unions, and other financial institutions a plus.Prior experience working with data analytics capabilities and developing client-facing predictive insights and product direction highly preferred.Travel: This position requires the incumbent to travel 25%+ domestically.This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:* 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD.Preferred Qualifications:* 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience.* Experience working in payments industry or with a financial institution (bank, credit union, Fintech).* Previous experience in a management consulting firm.* Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.Additional InformationWork Hours:

Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
