Job Summary:

Sy-Klone International is seeking an experienced EDI Specialist to manage and support electronic data interchange (EDI) processes across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling EDI standards such as ANSI X12 and EDIFACT, while utilizing Cadacus and SYSPRO for effective data integration. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining EDI maps, automating processes using VB scripting, PowerShell, batch files, and task scheduler, and ensuring secure file transfers via SFTP. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize workflows.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain EDI systems to facilitate seamless data exchange with trading partners, utilizing ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards.Automate order intake and forecast processes by developing and managing EDI transactions for inbound 830 (Planning Schedule), 850 (Purchase Orders), and DELFOR (Delivery Forecast) documents.Automate outbound shipping notices and invoices, including the setup and management of EDI 856 (ASN), DESADV (Despatch Advice), 810 (Invoices), and INVOIC (Invoice) documents, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.Troubleshoot, root cause, and apply corrective action when receiving application advice (EDI 824) or rejected acknowledgments (EDI 997), ensuring data integrity and compliance.Configure and manage EDI transactions through Cadacus and SYSPRO, ensuring accurate data integration and validation between internal systems and trading partners.Automate and streamline acknowledgments and receive advice through the management of EDI 997 (Functional Acknowledgment) and 861 (Receiving Advice/Acceptance Certificate).Develop and maintain automated scripts using VB scripting, PowerShell, and .bat files to streamline EDI processes and workflows, including scheduling tasks using Windows Task Scheduler.Monitor secure file transfers (SFTP) to trading partners, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of EDI documents.Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues, including failed transactions, mapping errors, and connectivity problems.Analyze and modify EDI maps to accommodate new trading partners, changes in business processes, or updates in transaction requirements.Ensure accurate data output between Cadacus and Bartender labeling softwareMonitor and optimize system performance, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues to prevent disruptions in the EDI process.Document EDI processes, configurations, and solutions, providing clear guidelines for team members and other stakeholders.Collaborate with IT and business departments to enhance EDI capabilities, implementing system updates and new integrations as needed.Required Skills:

Strong experience with ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and key EDI documents (e.g., 830, 856, 810). Experience with the EDI solution, Cadacus, is preferred.Skilled in VB scripting, PowerShell, and .bat files to automate workflows.Experience in managing secure data transfers. WinSCP is preferred.Strong ability to document EDI processes and create clear technical guides.Excellent communication skills to work with internal teams and external partners on EDI-related issues.Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 5-7 years applicable experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.3-5 years of experience working with EDI systems and standards (X12, EDIFACT), including hands-on experience with key documents like 830, 850, 856, and 810.Experience with EDI platforms, such as Cadacus, SYSPRO, or similar ERP/EDI integration tools.Proficiency in automation scripting (VB scripting, PowerShell) and task scheduling.Experience with secure file transfers (SFTP) and EDI transaction management tools.Familiarity with EDI mapping, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization.Knowledge of business processes related to order intake, shipping, invoicing, and supply chain operations is a plus.Relocation:

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance.Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.Prolonged periods standing and walking.Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.Must be able to visually inspect machines and manufacturing areas, including working from heights.Normal auditory, visual acuity, depth perception and peripheral vision, ambulation and dexterity.What you get:
