As we accelerate our growth trajectory, we seek an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Engineering team.
About the Role
Are you passionate about writing clean, efficient code? Do you have experience working with REACT and Laravel? We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team. You will play a pivotal role in building and scaling our platform, ensuring seamless integration across all components, from the backend infrastructure to the user interface. You'll have the opportunity to work on both server-side and client-side development, from end to end. In this role, you'll also work directly with our product designers to create a highly polished user experience.
This position reports to the Director of Engineering, and it is hybrid with the expectation of 2 days onsite per week at our Parsippany, NJ office.
What You'll Do:
Lead the development and optimization of our platform using PHP, SQL, REST API, with a preference for ReactDesign and implement robust backend services, ensuring high performance and scalabilityLead a full life cycle project from implementation design to a release candidateBuild and enhance user interfaces with React, incorporating CSS and styled components to deliver responsive and visually appealing experiencesDevelop and maintain REST APIs to enable seamless communication between different parts of the platform and third-party servicesOptimize and manage our SQL databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and securityWrite clean, maintainable, and testable code, following industry best practices and coding standardsWork closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality features and improvements on timeProvide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvementWhat You'll Bring:
8+ years of experience in full stack development, with a strong focus on PHP, SQL, and REST APIsBachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field, or equivalent years of experienceProficiency in JavaScript, with extensive experience in modern frameworks like React; Knowledge of CSS, with styled components being a plusStrong experience with SQL and database design, with a focus on performance optimization and securityExperience with PHP MVC framework, Laravel (preferred)Experience with OOP programming - comfortable building code that can be modular and reusedProven experience in building and integrating REST APIsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challengesExcellent communication skills, with experience working in cross-functional teamsExperience mentoring and guiding junior developers, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environmentFamiliarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and CI/CD pipelinesKnowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologiesWhat We Offer:
Base Salary range: $130,000 - $160,000 + a discretionary 10% performance bonus401k & Company MatchMedical/Dental/Vision InsuranceHybrid work schedule (2 days onsite per week)15 PTO Days + Paid holidays
