Job Description
ASRC Agile Decision Sciences is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems.We are seeking highly motivated Software Engineers to support the development and sustainment of the U.S. Navy Ship Self-Defense System in Moorestown, NJ.
Responsibilities: Work in a collaborative team using agile software development methodology, performing the following tasks: Participates in software requirements review, preliminary and critical design reviews, integration readiness review, and software acceptance reviews. Research problems and develop solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher (in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field) or equivalent related work experienceCurrent Active Secret security clearance is required. (US Citizenship is required for a security clearance)5-7 years' experience in software development, maintenance, or support of large-scale software programsExperience in Open/Layered Architecture EnvironmentReal-Time System Data Analysis; Problem Analysis; System IntegrationExperiencedeveloping software with Java, C++, or PythonExperience developing software with Agile scaled principlesExperience with Object Orienteddesign/development including the employment of Design Patterns to facilitate the utilization of software insulation techniques and pluginsExperienceworking with Linux and UNIX environmentsStrong skills with Integrated Development Environments (IDE) such as Eclipse or VSCodeFamiliar withUML syntax and its use in Model-based tools like RapsodyFamiliar with driver-based and automated test environmentsFamiliar with GitFamiliar withissue tracking systems like JIRA (Project Management Tool) or TrelloExperience with the following is considered a plus:
xUnit Framework, Junit andGoogle TestTcl/TkAdaAtlassian tool suite including Jira, BitBucket, and ConfluenceData Distribution Service (DDS)CMMI Level 5 Life CycleProcesses and Procedures
