The successful candidate will work with regional and national clients on complex commercial litigation matters, including healthcare, media, and First Amendment issues. The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of experience in commercial litigation, with a proven ability to handle intricate cases and collaborate effectively in a team environment.Duties:Represent clients in complex commercial litigation cases, focusing on healthcare, media, and First Amendment issues.Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.Work with expert witnesses to prepare and present expert testimony.Conduct fact development and manage discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.Take and defend depositions, prepare and argue motions, and draft briefs for complex litigation matters.Assist in trial preparation and represent clients in court, if applicable.Maintain a high standard of work product while managing multiple cases and priorities.Requirements:3-5 years of experience in complex commercial litigation.Experience with expert witnesses, fact development, depositions, and drafting discovery responses, briefs, and motions.Trial experience is a plus but not required.Clerkship experience is strongly preferred.Strong academic record with a J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited law school.Admitted to practice in Georgia or willing to waive admission to the Georgia Bar.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a nationally recognized and accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to practice law in Georgia or the ability to waive into the Georgia Bar.Skills:Exceptional project management skills and ability to handle a fast-paced workload.Effective and persuasive writing and oral communication skills.Strong research and writing skills, with law review or comparable experience being a plus.Ability to manage priorities, anticipate issues, and work collaboratively in a cross-office team environment.Professional commitment and excellent interpersonal skills.
