The Sales Analytics Forecast Manager is a managerial position responsible for supporting Moultrie Analytics team in building, deploying, and supporting predictive models using various modeling techniques deployed across multiple aspects of the business. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in delivering insight with a solid grounding in analytical research. The candidate must also demonstrate strong management, recruiting, and leadership capabilities with an ability to clearly communicate and present the team's overall charter and deliverables. The position requires a unique combination of strategic and tactical skills that will enable the successful candidate to impact the company's transformation and sustain profitable growth significantly.

Responsibilities

:Responsible for interacting cross-functionally with Operations, Brand teams, Marketing, Sales, and Finance to coordinate and oversee the collaborative development of product forecasts and sales analysis. This position drives continuous improvement in sales analysis, forecast accuracy, and forecasting processes to impact inventory positions, sales, and margin positively.Partner with the division team to generate forecasts through predictive analytics and develop a sustainable and scalable strategic framework. Act as a critical member in developing new analytics products and strategies.Effectively communicate and translate results to Leadership Teams. Enable Moultrie management to make informed, data-based decisions by providing business analyses and analytical support, particularly in areas where data is difficult to access / unreliable and where a high level of analytical skill is required.Gather, analyze, and present customer data to assist the team with decision-making, clarity, and transparency.Analyze and communicate customer trends and partner with the sales team to stay up to date with future promotions. Work with sales and finance on the financial impact on these promotions.Develop and manage the company's 12-month rolling sales and POS plan and support its implementation and execution. Communicate this with operations to ensure enough inventory to support this plan.Lead and develop the annual sales forecast by developing multiple scenarios (Upside, Downside, Base) and communicating across sales & marketing, operations, and management.Assist Finance with maintaining a 3-year model sales forecast.Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree (Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Business, Merchandising, or other quantitative field) required.Five (5) + experience in sales analysis, predictive analytics, statistics or modeling is required.Proven understanding of forecast methodologies.Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations.We are an equal opportunity employer and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
