ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded from time to time to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary.Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities. Works in conjunction with the Safety Manager to establish and maintain all policies and programs to assure a safe working environment.Complies with all safety and health guidelines, quality standard practices/procedures, and housekeeping standards.Responsible for meeting or exceeding company performance metrics for driving continuous improvement and making well-informed decisions for manufacturing activities, resource allocation, and strategic planning.Responsible for transport, cleaning, and set-up of Plate Mounter using 1a 5-step set-up procedure.Notify Pre-Print of any master layout discrepancies so the following processes can be updated or revised.Prepare and mount plates on sleeves utilizing the plate mounting equipment ensuring that plates are within acceptable tolerances for printing.Clean and store all printing plates.Update and retain specification sheets.Perform incoming inspection of incoming mounting tapes and supplies.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

Must be able to collaborate with other employees, effectively communicate to share information, solve problems, and instruct employees.Must have the ability to read and interpret documents and complex correspondence.Must be able to write standard reports and documentation.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into varying units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Successful color distinguishing capabilities desired.Web handling fundamentals.Must be able to read standard ruler measurements.Beginner-level computer skills.English language verbal and written communication skills.High school math skills.Demonstrate the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.Ability to multi-task and work efficiently with team members.Good hand and eye coordination

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
