Description
Captivation Software is looking for a senior level software engineer who shall be responsible for supporting the CASA Compute Environment (CCE) SaaS team and mission services. The CCE provides several containerized services that customers can provision and access on demand inside of a Kubernetes cluster. Some of the services include Gitlab CI/CD, Jupyter Notebooks, MinIO, and several other products. The Software Engineer shall perform maintenance and troubleshooting of containerized applications, upgrade services, assist customers using the CCE and develop any required software for new CCE functionality and services. In addition, the Software Engineer shall provide customer support to CCE customers across several Hustle channels and via help desk tickets
RequirementsSecurity Clearance:Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizenMinimum Qualifications:Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexityNine (9) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.Required Skills:Experience with Linux CLIExperience with Bash/Python scriptingExperience with creating Helm Charts for KubernetesExperience with developing services on Kubernetes.Experience creating containerized applications/services using Docker.Experience providing customer outreach and troubleshooting support.Desired Skills:Experience with Jupyter NotebooksExperience with Gitlab CI/CD pipelinesExperience updating containerized applications to address STE/STN requirementsExperience developing with REST APIsExperience with the Atlassian Tool suite (Bitbucket, Confluence, Jira)Willingness to demonstrate functionality to the CCE user community as neededWillingness to learn new languages and technologies, such as AWSThis position is open for direct hires only.
