Technology Risk and Compliance Specialist

Duties:

Participate in various types of interviews, meetings or workshops to design and document risk and compliance management processes Provide coordination and leadership to communicate status, decisions, action items, scheduled changes and identified/potential risks and issues to leadership accordingly and provide actionable inputs to mitigate Coordinate audit efforts with cross functional teams to maintain compliance by performing process walkthroughs, documenting narratives, control testing and evidence gathering Ensure that control/risk mitigation activities are properly designed, implemented, documented and operating effectively Excellent organization, planning and problem-solving skills Possess critical thinking skills used to review available information to compare findings in relation to policies, standards and audit control requirements Identify, assess, monitor, and report audit findings Knowledge in ITGC compliance Experience with Disaster Recovery / Technical Recovery programs and methodologies, to include plan development, testing and reporting to senior leadership Strong technical knowledge and understanding of information technology systems and security practices Learn any other appropriate program or software system used by the organization as necessary Conduct risk assessments on business and operational processes, procedures, and policies In collaboration with the Technology Controls and Governance team: Review the accuracy of gaps and adequacy of mitigation plans Develop, direct and maintain ITGC, Technology Recovery and other audit requirements and compliance Interpret results of audit findings; present recommendations, including alternatives and implications to impacted application owners Serve as point of contact and escalation for application owners Manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment Adapt to changing risk and regulatory requirements as needed Performs other related projects and duties as assigned Contract to hire potential

Skills:

Proficient with using Microsoft Office, SharePoint, ServiceNow and Jira Excellent interpersonal and communicational skills with ability to report to all levels Strong project management skills to keep multiple projects organized and deliver results under tight and demanding deadlines Ability to create clear, concise documentation capturing current and optimal processes Ability to build relationships with stakeholders, peers, management and third parties Experience with Disaster Recovery / Technical Recovery programs Knowledge and understanding of Risk Management and implementation in an Enterprise level IT environment Understanding of risk and compliance governance frameworks Ability to identify key risk issues, involve key stakeholders, propose solutions, obtain buy-in, and communicate effectively through resolution The ability to learn and act upon dynamic information at a rapid pace in a cross-functional team environment Experience in designing, testing, evaluating, and documenting controls for compliance in an enterprise-level environment Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

Education:

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
