Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is currently searching for an experienced
Data Architect
to support the design, development, implementation and maintenance of an enterprise data solution for a healthcare client.
This role will provide expertise to support the development of a data system architecture that supports enterprise data operations, enterprise data warehouse, data portal, and data science applications. This is an exciting opportunity to work as a part of a collaborative data team. This architecture includes Databricks, which is the main focus of the role.
Candidate Responsibilities Include:Coordination of project management, engineering, maintenance, QA, and risk management.Plans, develops, coordinates, and monitors project activities.Develops and supports technical applications to support users.Develops, implements, maintains and enforces documented standards and procedures for the design, development, installation, modification, and documentation of systems.Provides training for system products and procedures.Performs application upgrades as needed.Performs, monitoring, maintenance, or reporting on real- time databases, real-time network and serial data communications, and real-time graphics and applications.Troubleshoots issues and provides documentation as needed.Ensures project life-cycle is in compliance with District standards and procedures.
Required Background:
10+ years of implementing Big Data storage/analytics platforms such as DatabricksKnowledge of Data Architecture best practicesKnowledge of architecture and implementation of networking, security and storage on cloud platformsExperience with deployment of data tools and storage on cloud platformsKnowledge of Data-centric systems for the analysis and visualization of data, such as Tableau/QlikExperience querying structured and unstructured data sources including SQL and NoSQL databasesExperience modeling and ingesting data into and between various data systemsExperience with API development and Web ServicesExperience with complex event processing and real-time streaming dataExperience with deployment and management of data science tools and modulesExperience with ETL, data processing, and analyticsBachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
