Position Summary

Provides trauma-informed and culturally responsive individual and group therapy services to youth and adult survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking in Medina County. This role also includes the provision of mobile therapy services, ensuring accessible and flexible support to meet the needs of survivors wherever they are.

Job Description

Required Education, Experience and Qualifications

Master's degree in Social Work with LSW/LISW or Master's degree in Counseling with LPC/LPCCClinical training in trauma-focused therapeutic modalities, and/or experience working with survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, human trafficking, and/or victims of crime preferredMaintain valid Ohio driver's license and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability.Must be able to meet agency requirements for criminal background check (Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations and Federal Bureau of Investigations).Role and Responsibilities

Provide trauma-informed and culturally responsive individual and group therapy services to survivors and co-survivors of sexual violence, intimate partner violence, and human trafficking.Perform comprehensive diagnostic assessments to accurately evaluate mental health conditions.Collaboratively develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each client.Facilitate support groups at Hope and Healing locations and community locations in Medina County.Maintain accurate documentation and statistic information regarding clinical work with survivors in accordance with program deadlines.Coordinates service plans with other staff within the agency and external service providers as neededSpends approximately 75% of time in direct client services activitiesProvides education and training to staff and other allied professionals

Adheres to Service Excellence standards at all timesRepresent Hope and Healing Survivor Resource Center, by participating in community activities, coalitions and taskforce groups as requested or assigned by supervisor.Maintain confidentiality of all information learned through one's employment at Hope and Healing Survivor Resource CenterComplies with agency policies and procedures, federal and state requirements, and educational/certification/registry requirements.Performs other duties as assigned.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.Work environment: This position will be in a facility with victims of domestic violence or sexual assault. In addition to interaction with the survivors, the employee may have interactions with families of these individuals, the assailants and law enforcement.Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, exempt position. Occasional evening and weekend work hours will be required. This position has a flexible schedule for the purposes of meeting the responsibilities of the role.Must provide therapy services at agency office locations and on a mobile basis in Medina County.Additional Qualifications
