UHG Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities:Develop a new Business Intelligence reporting hub in Power BI being responsible for creating interactive dashboards and reports.Work with Business team to understand the business goals and provide innovative reporting solutions and meaningful insights.Partner with Data Engineers to design the Data warehouse and data models for reporting needs.Be responsible for designing a secure, scalable and high performing BI hub.Be able to design and write high performing store procedures and SQL queries.Influences senior leadership with new ideas and help adapt them.Be responsible for creating technical specifications and help creating UI documentation.Perform various technical aspects of software development including design, developing prototypes, and coding.Adhere to security standards and coding best practicesContinuously seek performance improvements and cost savingsLead the deployment, support, and monitoring of software across development, integration, and production environmentsDesign reusable technical frameworks, libraries and componentsRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience4+ years of hands-on experience in developing BI solutions using Power BI2+ years of experience utilizing SQL and / or relational database tools (SQL Server or similar databases)Experience in database development, modeling and building DatawarehouseExperience in cloud infrastructure and provisioningExperience in Agile/ScrumPreferred Qualifications:
Experience in SSRS and ETLExperience in Azure Data Factory, Snowflake and DatabricksCustom visualization in Power BI
Required Skills : Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools): • Power BI o Building Reports, Visualizations & Dashboards o Working on the Infrastructure / Provisioning side o Connecting to databases and aiding the Data Engineering team on integrations • Database experience - SQL & PL/SQL o Snowflake is really nice to haveBasic Qualification :
