*Description:*TEKsystems, in support of our client in Lexington, is looking for a knowledgeable, experienced Desktop Support Technician with a high aptitude for problem resolution. The Tech will interface with agency staff remotely and in person, so customer service skills are as essential as technical skills. Qualified candidates must maintain a valid driver's license and be physically able to lift heavy objects. Candidates must also be experienced with desktop support, including but not limited to installation, troubleshooting, and repair in a Windows-based environment. The candidate also needs to possess basic network troubleshooting skills.The person hired for this position will primarily be supporting users in the counties of Fayette, Clark, Estill, and Powell. The Eastern Field Services District 1 supports users in Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Estill, Fayette, Garrard, Harrison, Irvine, Jessamine, Lincoln, Madison, Mercer, Powell, Scott, and Woodford Counties so travel will be required within this area when necessary. A State vehicle will be provided.*Skills:*
