Job Description:The Worldwide Installments team is looking for a Software Development Engineer, who will act as first level support and development for all incoming production software application issues dealing with installments merchandising applications. Your solutions will impact our customers directly.Primary responsibilities include developing monitoring solutions, troubleshooting/debugging and implementing the fix for internally developed code (JAVA), improving our systems that gather metrics on our features, updating, tracking and resolving technical challenges. Responsibilities also include updating/enhancing our current software, automation of support processes and documentation of our systems.Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is interested in a career in software development and is looking to utilize and expand their coding skills and gain exposure to a wide variety of software applications. They must be detail oriented, have superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, are able to work independently and can maintain professionalism under pressure.Preferred coding skills: Java and AWS experience is requiredA Computer Science or BIS bachelor's degree is requiredMinimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience is requiredStory Behind the Need - Business Group & Key Projects
Work that will not get completed without this resource(s): The key features planned for the project in Q2-Q4 including Marquetery Automation and DPM Migration will not be completed as plannedTypical Day in the Role:
Interaction: Collaboration with internal and cross functional teams.Day to day: developing monitoring solutions, troubleshooting/debugging and implementing the fix for internally developed code (JAVA), improving our systems that gather metrics on our features, updating, tracking and resolving technical challenges.
